On the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, the CYPRUS INTEGRITY FORUM in collaboration with Pyrgou Vakis Law Firm and the Fimonoi Research Foundation, organised the event “Apathy or Awakening for Combating Corruption”. During the event the findings of research conducted in Cyprus on the levels of corruption were presented by Melina Pyrgou, Managing Director of the Finonoi Research Foundation and Managing Director of Pyrgou Vakis Law Firm, followed by a panel discussion coordinated by Lefteris Adilinis with the participation of Mary Pyrgou, Nicos Theodoulou, Rovertos Yiousellis and Afroditi Kyriacou. The research and the ensuing discussion focused on how we can combat corruption in all sectors of private and public life, referencing pioneering ideas that have been successfully implemented in other countries.
